Job Overview

The Technical Officer Tobacco Control Program will be responsible for providing technical support to the Ministry of Health (MoH) for effective law implementation and enforcement. This role involves working closely with government agencies, NGOs and other stakeholders to ensure that tobacco control policies are effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to the MoH in developing and implementing tobacco control laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with government agencies, NGOs and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of tobacco control policies.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for government officials and other stakeholders on tobacco control policies and laws.
  • Assist in the development of advocacy materials, such as brochures, posters and videos, to promote tobacco control policies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A degree in public health, medicine or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in tobacco control policy development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
