We are seeking an experienced and skilled School Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration, with experience in managing staff, maintaining attendance records, and overseeing daily operations. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, students, and parents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records for all administrative staff.
  2. Supervise the work of administrative staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  3. Ensure that all equipment and vehicles are properly maintained and serviced on a regular basis.
  4. Implement security measures to prevent unauthorized access to school premises.
  5. Manage the school's accounts, including reconciling expenses and preparing financial reports.
  6. Distribute salaries to local staff each month.
  7. Negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of essential supplies and rations.
  8. Provide logistical support to academic staff by arranging supplies, transport, and other necessities.
  9. Ensure the safety and security of staff and students by supervising movements and travel.
  10. Liaise with the local community to promote good relations and prevent misunderstandings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized university, preferably in social sciences, economics, accounts, or political science.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team.
