Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary As a pivotal role in the organization, this position is responsible for championing data-driven methodologies across all departments. This individual will work closely with stakeholders to extract and manipulate large datasets using SQL, Python, and similar tools. The Business Intelligence Analyst will also design and develop dashboards to provide organizational metrics and indicators. Additionally, they will collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive data governance through standardization and communication.Key Responsibilities
  • Extract and manipulate large datasets to support analytical endeavors.
  • Design and develop business intelligence dashboards for organizational metrics and indicators.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and drive data governance.
  • Share extracted data with stakeholders via reports or Google Sheets.
  • Develop analysis and reporting capabilities to monitor performance and quality control plans.
  • Research and validate entity data using internal and external sources.
  • Participate in design, implementation, and interpretation of experiments/trials for strategy refinement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field.
  • 0-6 months work experience in analytics, preferably in e-commerce or digital media.
  • Experience in e-commerce, internet, or digital media.
  • Basic proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
  • Skills in Python, R, or similar tools are beneficial.
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience with statistical packages.
  • Excellent analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal English proficiency.
