Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Representative to drive sales growth and expand our client base. Your primary focus will be converting qualified leads into secured projects on freelance platforms by closing deals post-proposal submission and ensuring consistent revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with potential clients after initial bids are placed by the bidding team, building strong relationships and addressing their needs.
  2. Understand client requirements, project scope, and address concerns to move proposals towards closure, providing excellent customer service.
  3. Negotiate terms, address objections, and finalize project deals smoothly, utilizing effective communication skills.
  4. Maintain communication pipelines for timely follow-ups and deal conversions, ensuring seamless project execution.
  5. Collaborate with bidding and project delivery teams for successful project handover after closure, fostering a culture of teamwork.
  6. Achieve or surpass monthly sales closure targets, driving business success and growth.
  7. Keep accurate records of leads, conversations, and closures using CRM or internal systems, maintaining data integrity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field, demonstrating a solid academic foundation.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in sales closure, preferably in a freelance or digital services environment, showcasing expertise and skills.
  • Strong knowledge of freelance platforms and sales dynamics, staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client engagement skills, building trust and rapport with clients.
  • Ability to handle objections and convert proposals into successful deals, driving business results.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on timely follow-ups and closure, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
