Job Title: Travel Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced travel consultant to join our team. As a travel consultant, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating travel itineraries for clients, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate travel itineraries for clients, including transportation, accommodation, and activities.

  • Work with clients to determine their travel requirements and preferences.

  • Provide expert advice on travel destinations, modes of transportation, and accommodation options.

  • Manage large-scale events such as conferences and retreats.

  • Book transportation and hotel reservations on behalf of clients.

  • Process payments and handle client finances.

  • Resolve travel issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

  • Meet sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In a relevant field such as hospitality or tourism.

  • Experience: Proven work experience as a travel agent or in a related field.

  • Skills: Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS systems, and e-traveling. Fluency in English; multilingualism is an asset.

  • Qualifications: Strong sales skills and commercial awareness. Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively. Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends.
