Travel Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable web applications using PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality, well-documented code that adheres to industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain robust APIs for seamless data exchange with third-party travel platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of back-end services and APIs.
  • Design and implement secure, efficient database structures to support travel-related data.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across the application.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in web development and the travel industry.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a PHP developer with expertise in frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, OAuth, JWT, and other authentication methods.
  • Solid understanding of database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
  • Experience with Git for version control and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean).
  • Knowledge of payment gateway integrations (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
