Job Overview

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who excels in leadership roles. This person will lead investigations into undefined areas, ambiguous requirements, and define scope, requirements, and measurable deliverables that can be executed on using PMO principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans and objectives for programs and projects
  • Drive improvement of Key Process Indicators (KPIs) vs. baseline measurements developed as part of each project effort
  • Ensure timely completion of project initiatives; identify and drive demonstrable improvement of KPIs vs. baseline measurements
  • Manage project scope, budget, and schedule to ensure timely completion of program and project initiatives
  • Effectively manage tasks and ensure 100% resolution within appropriate time constraints
  • Provide regular status reports depicting service engagements, resource utilization, project status, risks, issue mitigation, portfolio status, and timely completion of project initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, teams, and executive management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • PMP, ITIL or equivalent Certification preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in program/project management, process engineering or strategy within a technology or operations environment
  • Leadership skills: experience leading a portfolio of programs, multiple projects, and teams
  • Ability to take ambiguous requirements, conduct investigations, and develop strategy
  • Problem solving skills: ability to identify risks and develop actionable mitigation plans
  • Analytical skills: highly analytical with experience using objective data to drive strategic recommendations
  • Effective communication skills: able to concisely explain complex issues, communicate well in writing and verbally, and build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Intellectual curiosity: desire to understand why/how things work
  • Experience using Project Management Software
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
