Job Title: Strategic Financial Leader

The role of the Director Audit & Compliance is crucial in overseeing the financial reporting processes across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This position will be responsible for leading the Reporting, VAT, and Compliance team, managing the monthly close process, and providing analysis to support financial decision-making.

About the Role
  • As a senior Finance lead for EMEA operations, this individual will act as the primary liaison with Group Finance and regional stakeholders, driving strategic initiatives and projects.
  • This key role involves end-to-end accounting and financial reporting of subsidiary entities, adhering to statutory, regulatory, and group reporting standards.
  • The Director Audit & Compliance will manage the full monthly reporting cycle, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis, ensuring timely delivery of accurate results.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage the Reporting, VAT, and Compliance team, focusing on delivering high-quality results that meet deadlines.
  2. Serve as the senior Finance lead for EMEA operations, developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth and improvement.
  3. Oversee end-to-end accounting and financial reporting, ensuring adherence to statutory, regulatory, and group reporting standards.
  4. Manage the full monthly reporting cycle, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
  5. Support development of departmental and project-level budgets, ensuring alignment with business strategy and financial targets.
  6. Deliver monthly group financial and management reports with value-added commentary for decision-making.
  7. Drive quarterly forecasting and planning process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  8. Develop, track, and present quarterly internal KPIs and performance dashboards to senior leadership.
  9. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, maintaining compliance with international accounting standards.
  10. Strengthen internal controls, processes, and governance frameworks to enable efficient financial close cycles.
  11. Partner with the Finance Manager on KPI management, balance sheet integrity, and process improvements.
