About the Role

This is a specialized export role that requires effective coordination and execution of shipments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and compliant export processes, from sales contracts to customs clearance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute export shipments in a timely manner by working closely with production, quality assurance, and warehouse teams.
  • Review sales contracts, purchase orders, and buyer manuals to guarantee accurate shipment requirements are met.
  • Arrange freight bookings, secure container allocation, and meet deadlines for sea and air transportation.
  • Prepare and verify export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other required formats.
  • Manage customs clearance through the Pakistan Single Window (PSW) or WeBOC portal and coordinate with clearing agents as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Pakistani customs regulations, State Bank of Pakistan guidelines, and export regulations.
  • Handle letter of credit, telegraphic transfer, and collection documentation, ensuring error-free bank submissions.
  • Follow up on timely payment realization and reconcile with the finance department.
  • Update the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and shipment trackers with estimated time of departure, estimated time of arrival, freight costs, and charges.
  • Monitor vessel schedules and proactively inform buyers of any delays or changes.
  • Analyze freight, demurrage, and clearance trends to optimize costs and improve efficiency.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or Business Administration.
  • 2-4 years of experience in export/shipping roles, preferably in the textiles or apparel industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020, export banking, and Pakistani customs regulations.
  • Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and excellent communication skills.
