Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Monitoring Engineer to lead our remote monitoring team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of natural gas measuring equipment and data acquisition systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain natural gas measuring equipment installed at industrial locations and border stations.
  • Supervise the effective operation and maintenance of data acquisition systems for customer meter stations within designated areas.
  • Ensure proper functionality of remote monitoring equipment installed across customer meter stations and border stations in the designated area.
  • Develop and implement dashboards and screens for exceptions and consumption monitoring.
  • Oversee procurement of necessary spares and equipment related to remote monitoring, adhering to technical specifications and requirements.
  • Drive proactive planning and scheduling processes to optimize manpower for remote monitoring equipment maintenance activities.
  • Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility, fostering individual growth for every team member.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, document problems, and coordinate with relevant departments for swift resolution.
  • Coordinate and manage field activities related to the installation, startup, maintenance, and operation of data acquisition equipment across the network.
Requirements

The successful candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, electronics, or telecommunications engineering or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of 09 years of post-qualification experience in remote monitoring and data acquisition in the oil and gas sector is required.
