Product Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Product Development Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our nationwide expansion.

The Role:
  • Evaluate new products through sensory panels, ensuring accurate records of results.
  • Provide technical support to other departments, including product preparation methods, recipe development, and nutritional data analysis.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve existing products, recommending adjustments as needed.
  • Source high-quality ingredients by collaborating closely with Technical and Purchasing teams.
  • Manage product development samples, ensuring feedback and action plans are aligned.
  • Oversee the entire product development process, from concept to finished production item, coordinating production trials and cost control.
  • Monitor and review product performance and production requirements regularly.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects and conduct feasibility studies as required.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a related field, such as Human Ecology, Home Economics, or Food Technology.
  • Post-graduate experience in a product development role or an experienced development chef is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of brands, values, and processes.
  • A tenacious and detailed approach, with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Strong team player.
