Job Summary

The Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst plays a vital role in safeguarding clients' networks by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Security Event Monitoring: Monitor security event alerts generated by advanced security technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewall logs, antivirus systems, etc.
  2. Proactive Threat Hunting: Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify potential security incidents or breaches.
  3. Incident Analysis: Analyze and investigate security alerts to determine the root cause, extent of impact, and appropriate response actions.
  4. Collaboration and Reporting: Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to coordinate incident response efforts and provide timely and accurate reporting on security incidents.
  5. Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain SOC documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), incident response plans, and playbooks. Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies through continuous learning and training.
