We are seeking a skilled and proactive Security Engineer who specializes in threat intelligence, security automation, and secure development practices. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys building scalable security solutions, and is passionate about staying ahead of emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities:
Threat Intelligence
  • Collect, analyze, and operationalize threat intelligence from internal and external sources.
  • Monitor threat landscapes and provide actionable insights to security and IT teams.
  • Integrate threat intelligence feeds into SIEM and other detection platforms.

  • Collaborate with incident response and SOC teams to enhance detection and response capabilities.

  • Security Automation

  • Design and implement automated workflows for threat detection, response, and remediation.

  • Develop playbooks and scripts to streamline security operations using SOAR platforms.
  • Integrate security tools and APIs to enable real-time alerting and response.
  • Continuously improve automation pipelines to reduce manual effort and response time.
Secure Development
  • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security into the SDLC.
  • Conduct code reviews and vulnerability assessments for applications and infrastructure.
  • Develop custom security tools and scripts to support internal security initiatives.
  • Advocate for secure coding practices and provide training to development teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 16 years degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive experience as a security engineer, security researcher and developer.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat intelligence frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK), and adversary tactics.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and tool development.
  • Familiarity with SOAR platforms and SIEM tools.
  • Hands-on experience with secure coding, application security, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
