Technical Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Data Analyst to join our team. This role involves working with complex datasets, designing scalable data models, and developing Python scripts to automate manual processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be proficient in SQL and Python, and have experience with data modeling tools such as dbt.

The role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.

The Technical Data Analyst will play a critical role in driving business growth through data-driven insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable data models using dbt, ensuring datasets are reliable, well-documented, and ready for analytics and business intelligence.
  • Write clean, efficient, and production-quality SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets, applying advanced techniques such as joins, window functions, and CTEs.
  • Design, build, and maintain Python scripts to automate manual processes, clean and validate data, and perform advanced statistical analysis using libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
  • Implement robust data quality checks and validation scripts within data pipelines to ensure accuracy, consistency, and governance of business-critical metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications for data pipelines, reports, and analytical solutions.
  • Deliver insightful analysis and communicate findings clearly to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making.
