Import Manager Job Description

The Import Manager will play a pivotal role in executing key responsibilities, including:

  • Understanding and analyzing the specialized needs of commodities and products being delivered.
  • Ensuring proper arrangement and efficient distribution of goods.
  • Negotiating agreements with clients and suppliers for product delivery and management.
  • Verifying documents to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Administering product transfers according to client specifications.
  • Communicating with third parties involved in operational processes.
  • Supervising workers in the import section and handling client interactions.
  • Strategizing and enforcing import activities according to client requirements.
  • Overseeing internal transfers of products and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to transfer products within given timeframes.
  • Ensuring timely arrival of products and commodities.
Job Specification

Qualifications and Skills Required:

A graduate degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field is ideal. A bachelor's degree in business administration with a major in one of these subjects is also acceptable. Holding a master's degree in the same field can be advantageous, offering opportunities for high positions and attractive salaries.

Possessing expertise in the field, good interaction and organization skills, and additional language proficiency are beneficial. Ability to work in a team and adapt to a multicultural work environment is essential.
