Job Title: IT Manager And IT Head

The role of an IT manager and IT head is a vital component in the success of any organization. They are responsible for managing IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they meet business needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project management, prioritization, and delivery within agreed time, quality, and cost targets.
  2. Providing guidance and support to the applications development team on project management, business analysis, system design, coding, testing, and user support.
  3. Maintaining the IT technical infrastructure, including file servers, application servers, email servers, Active Directory, backup devices, workstations, printers, network equipment, routers, firewalls, and communications links.
  4. Ensuring uptime of the technology infrastructure, implementing backup and disaster recovery procedures, updating anti-virus software, maintaining server and workstation Operating System with the latest security service patches, and implementing a common operating environment consistent with global standards.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in IT project management, including management reporting and budgetary responsibility. They should also have hands-on experience with SOX compliance, Microsoft Windows 2003/XP, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft SQL, TCP/IP, DHCP, Symantec Vertias, Symantec Anti-virus, Lotus Domino, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.

Education and Communication Skills:

A bachelor's degree in Computing Science or equivalent is required, along with good English verbal and written communication skills.
