Job Overview

The IT Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for implementing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, automation tools, and software development processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Responsibilities:
  • Implementing testing, development, and automation tools to support continuous integration and delivery.
  • Selecting and deploying CI/CD tools, performing configuration management to ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Defining and establishing test, development, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations to optimize performance.
  • Building continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipelines to streamline workflows.
  • Reviewing, verifying, and validating software codes developed in the project to ensure quality and security.
  • Implementing and maintaining monitoring stacks to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintaining and improving cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal utilization and scalability.
  • Conducting system troubleshooting activities, fixing code bugs to minimize downtime.
  • Monitoring development processes to ensure adherence to best practices, creating or updating new processes to minimize waste.
  • Promoting automated processes wherever feasible to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Enhancing IT infrastructure's security protocols by identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures to prevent threats.
  • Performing incidence management, root cause analysis to resolve issues quickly.
  • Maintaining consistent coordination and communication within the team, with clients to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Understanding customer requirements, monitoring customer experience, KPIs to deliver high-quality results.
  • Managing stakeholders, external interfaces to build strong relationships.
  • Managing periodic reporting on project progress to management, stakeholders, customers to facilitate informed decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years software development experience with a strong focus on DevOps practices.
  • Experience designing, deploying production-grade software with expertise in object design.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Go, Java, C++, Perl, Ruby, C, and ability to develop in web applications using HTML, CSS, Angular.
  • Experience with data transport using XML, JSON, and developing, debugging software on network stack IP, TCP, HTTP, REST.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Mongo, NoSQL databases, and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
  • A strong understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, and ability to navigate, administer Linux operating systems.
  • Ability to understand scaling server-side applications depending on load and demonstrated application of software engineering best practices.
  • Experience working on Agile teams, specifically Scrum method, and willingness to take ownership of problems, see them through to resolution.
