Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

As a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our computer networks and systems. This includes ensuring their smooth functioning, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure computer networks, systems, and applications according to industry standards and best practices.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure high uptime.
  • Implement robust security measures to safeguard our systems from potential threats, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls.
  • Create user accounts, manage permissions, and provide expert technical support to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation and inventory records to facilitate efficient troubleshooting and decision-making.
  • Develop and implement regular data backup strategies to ensure business continuity in case of data loss or system failure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in network infrastructure and implement optimized solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field of networking and systems administration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Specialist or similar role, with a strong track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), hardware (routers, switches), operating systems (Windows, Linux), and virtualization technologies (VMware).
  • Experience with network security tools, such as firewalls and antivirus software, to protect against cyber threats.
  • Ability to analyze complex network issues quickly and efficiently, with a focus on finding innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
