Our Ideal Candidate
  • Requires 5+ years of finance management experience to excel in this role.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, with excellent grammar and fluency in English.
  • Educational management experience is a significant plus.
  • Excellent time management skills are required to succeed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively with parents and staff.
  • Able to read and interpret information, present numerical data resourcefully, and gather and analyze information efficiently.

The successful candidate will establish effective virtual office tools and remote management strategies, demonstrating innovation and technology savvy. They should be able to work across time zones as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bulk charges: verify families' records, inquire about current charges, schedule changes, and terminations.
  • Update records with correct schedules, record 1st month deposits, and receive void cheques during orientation.
  • Subsidies: check records, notify parents of expiring subsidies, and send statements of payment from the government.
  • Third-party invoicing: send invoices mid-month for timely payment.
  • Promotions: notify parents of expiring promotions and charge full tuition fees as of the next month.
  • Outstanding balances: check balances, email/call parents, and update applications with payments made.
  • Review unpaid invoices and send reminders to parents.
  • Prepare 'tuition tracking' spreadsheets and reasonability tests.
  • Contact sites for inquiries and claims adjustments.
  • Collections: review accounts and follow up with parents.
