Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer Electrical to develop and review electrical designs, drawings, and calculations for industrial and oil & gas infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project design & execution activities and assign tasks to available team members
  • Review engineering documentation and ensure compliance with international standards and client requirements
  • Work with the project planning team for development of detailed schedule and progress trackers
  • Coordinate with suppliers for engineering and project deliverables
  • Ensure safe and timely execution of projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • 4-6 years experience in oil & gas, industrial and/or petrochemical engineering projects
  • Strong knowledge of international standards (IEC, ATEX, NEC etc) related to Electrical systems
  • Experience with Electrical design / analysis software like ETAP, Dialux etc
  • Mastery of effort estimation for project engineering and budgeting
  • Expertise in design of Low Voltage Switchgear & MCC's, Medium Voltage Switchgear & MCC's, AC & DC UPS systems, Transformer Systems, Power Management Systems, VFD & Soft starters
  • Knowledge of installation & commissioning activities for above systems is an additional advantage
  • Knowledge of containerized substation & E-house is an added advantage
  • Basic understanding of HVAC system design
