Electrical Maintenance Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic factory and head office setting. We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring timely preventive and corrective actions to keep machinery and systems running smoothly. They will also be required to accurately follow the preventive and corrective maintenance schedule for machines, equipment, and building systems, minimize machine breakdowns, and maintain proper recordkeeping of maintenance tasks and breakdown history.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, 1-2 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance (industrial setting preferred), basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, motor controls, and safety standards, and the ability to work in shifts and respond to emergencies when needed. They must also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a responsible attitude toward work.

As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. You will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical panels, wiring, lights, motors, and control systems. You will also assist in maintaining HVAC, generators, UPS, and other electrical systems at the head office and plant.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out day-to-day electrical maintenance tasks.
  • Accurately follow the preventive and corrective maintenance schedule.
  • Minimize machine breakdowns.
  • Maintain proper recordkeeping of maintenance tasks and breakdown history.
  • Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical panels, wiring, lights, motors, and control systems.
  • Assist in maintaining HVAC, generators, UPS, and other electrical systems.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance (industrial setting preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, motor controls, and safety standards.
  • Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergencies when needed.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
