Project Bidder for Software Development

We are seeking an experienced Project Bidder to help us secure software development projects on various freelancing platforms (e.g., Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, PeoplePerHour). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully bidding on projects and a solid understanding of software development, SaaS solutions, web and mobile applications (iOS & Android), and software testing services.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify potential projects on freelancing platforms based on our software development and SaaS service offerings.
  • Develop and submit high-quality proposals and bids tailored to client needs, showcasing our technical strengths and project experience.
  • Collaborate with our technical team to understand project scope, timelines, and deliverables before bidding.
  • Manage client communication from initial contact to successful project onboarding.
  • Monitor and follow up on submitted bids, providing regular updates on bid status and client responses.
  • Assess the feasibility of potential projects and contribute to our strategy to secure new business.
  • Improve our profile and proposal templates to increase success rates.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and support negotiations as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and freelancing platform algorithms.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience bidding for software/web/mobile/SaaS projects on freelancing platforms.
  • Familiarity with popular freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, or PeoplePerHour.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive proposals.
  • A basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), web/mobile technologies, and SaaS models.
  • Ability to understand technical briefs and translate them into client-focused solutions.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
