Software Development Project Bidder Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Bidder to join our business development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and qualifying software development projects on freelancing platforms (e.g., Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, PeoplePerHour) and supporting our development team by securing opportunities in custom software development, SaaS solutions, web and mobile applications (iOS & Android), and software testing services.

Responsibilities:

  • Find and analyze job postings to identify potential projects that align with our software development and SaaS service offerings.
  • Create engaging proposals and bids tailored to client needs, showcasing our technical expertise and project experience.
  • Work closely with the technical team to understand project requirements, timelines, and deliverables before submitting a bid.
  • Manage client communication throughout the project onboarding process.
  • Monitor and follow up on submitted bids, providing regular updates on their status and client responses.
  • Assess the feasibility of potential projects and contribute to our strategy to secure new business.
  • Improve our profile and proposal templates to increase success rates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and support negotiations as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor activity, and platform algorithms.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience bidding for software/web/mobile/SaaS projects on freelancing platforms.
  • Familiarity with popular freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, or PeoplePerHour.
  • Strong writing and communication skills to craft compelling proposals.
  • A basic understanding of software development methodologies, web/mobile technologies, and SaaS models.
  • The ability to understand technical requirements and present solutions to clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • A self-motivated and proactive individual who can work independently in a remote setting.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, business, or marketing (desired but not required).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with software development agencies or startups.
  • Background in sales or marketing for IT/tech services.
  • Basic knowledge of tools like Trello, Jira, Slack, CRM systems, or bidding automation tools.
