Assistant Manager Finance Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various financial aspects of the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and trial balances.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of invoices in the ERP system with company policies.
  • Analyze payment delays and implement corrective actions to prevent late payments.
  • Finalize bank reconciliations and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Manage the divisional trial balance, including month-end closing activities and necessary adjustments.
  • Process bills and maintain accurate reconciliations for all related transactions.
  • Oversee payments to contractors and employees, including full and final settlements, advances, and loan disbursements.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing tax-related data and documentation.
  • Conduct monthly physical stock counts and prepare detailed reports for management review.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ACCA/CA Finalist, ICMA, or MBA in Finance/Accounting.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and ERP systems.
