About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Air Export Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for generating export sales, managing the sales team, and exploring new markets.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the freight forwarding/logistics field, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Key responsibilities include:
  1. Generating export sales to achieve maximum profitability against mutually agreed sales targets
  2. Managing the sales team
  3. Exploring new markets
  4. Able to achieve sales targets
  5. Developing new customers
  6. Able to develop a customer relationship program
  7. Reporting to Senior Management
  8. Able to comply with Company policies
  9. Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities with existing and potential customers
  10. Monitor customer accounts within the allocated sales area to ensure that sales potential is fully exploited

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:Strong communication, motivation & convincing skills5 to 8 years experience in Air Export Sales in a freight forwarding companyExcellent communication skillsGood knowledge of the marketAble to handle teamsAble to meet sales targets on timeDevelop strategic plans for the team and able to achieve them
Sales Skills

As a sales professional, you will require excellent selling skills, including pipeline management, client follow-up, direct sales, sales forecasting, executive presentation skills, and deal qualification.

As a manager, you will need to be an influential communicator, able to manage large teams, set targets, and hire and build teams.

Sales Tracking & Analysis

You will be responsible for sales growth analysis and sales assessments.

Partnerships & Alliances

This role involves strategic sales and developing partnerships and alliances.
