Mid-Senior Level WordPress Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled WordPress developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and optimizing WordPress themes as per project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in theme customization (custom themes and child themes), strong experience in plugin customization and development, and experience in website hosting, domain management, and server configurations.

You will also work closely with designers, content teams, and marketing professionals to improve the UI/UX of our websites.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop, customize, and optimize WordPress themes and plugins;
  • Manage website hosting, domain setup, and server configurations;
  • Optimize website performance, speed, and security;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to themes, plugins, and hosting;
  • Work with APIs and third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, CRMs);
  • Maintain and update existing WordPress websites to ensure functionality and security;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve UI/UX;

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in WordPress development;
  • Expertise in theme customization (custom themes and child themes);
  • Strong experience in plugin customization and development;
  • Experience in website hosting, domain management, and server configurations;
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization;
  • Familiarity with cPanel, WHM, Cloudflare, and various hosting providers;
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for debugging and fixing WordPress issues;
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams;

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with WooCommerce and e-commerce website development;
  • Proven experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, etc.);
  • Knowledge of security measures to protect WordPress sites from vulnerabilities;
