About the RoleThis position plays a pivotal part in driving sales efforts and client engagement for our IT managed services domain. As an MTO Business Development professional, you will be responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential clients, supporting lead generation efforts, and participating in client communication and follow-ups under senior team member supervision.
- Identify and approach potential clients in the IT managed services sector.
- Contribute to lead generation initiatives through LinkedIn, emails, and online research.
- Engage in client interactions and follow-ups, guided by senior team members.
- Assist in crafting proposals, presentations, and sales documents tailored to client needs.
- Participate in sales meetings and calls to gain comprehensive knowledge of the sales cycle.
- Maintain accurate records of leads and clients within CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on trends, challenges, and competitor offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to synchronize messaging and service understanding.
- Support documentation and reporting of sales activities and performance metrics.
- Regularly update progress and assigned tasks.
- Familiarize yourself with how IT solutions such as helpdesk, cybersecurity, and networking cater to client needs.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree (in progress or completed) in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Recent graduates or individuals with up to six months of experience in sales, marketing, or IT services.
- An interest or basic exposure to services such as helpdesk, cybersecurity, or networking.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially for U.S.-based client interactions.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and basic research skills.
- Understanding of CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is advantageous.
- A growth-oriented attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong initiative.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
