We are seeking a results-driven and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) with hands-on experience in cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and lead generation. The ideal candidate will be familiar with lead prospecting tools such as Apollo and Crunchbase, and possess an understanding of the software development industry to effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, and email campaigns to identify and qualify leads.
  • Research and identify potential prospects using tools like Apollo, Crunchbase, and other lead generation platforms.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Qualify leads based on defined criteria and schedule meetings for the sales team.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's software development services and offerings.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align outreach strategies with business goals.
  • Track, measure, and report on lead generation performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience (1–3 years) in an SDR, BDR, or similar outbound sales role.
  • Hands-on experience with cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and lead generation.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Apollo and Crunchbase for prospecting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to research, identify, and engage with potential leads effectively.
  • Understanding of software development processes and industry terminology.
  • Highly self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using CRM platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho CRM.
  • Prior experience in a SaaS or IT services company.
  • Knowledge of additional lead generation tools or automation platforms.
