Cloud Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to manage and secure Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.

  • This role involves administering and securing cloud environments, including Azure Firewall and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
  • The ideal candidate will configure, deploy, and manage Microsoft Intune for device compliance, application deployment, and policy configuration.
  • Responsibilities also include deploying, configuring, and maintaining Microsoft Sentinel for SIEM/SOAR operations, including rule creation, alert management, and incident response.
  • The successful candidate will configure and secure Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), including Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and MFA.
  • Additionally, the engineer will implement, manage, and monitor Trend Micro Apex One XDR and other endpoint protection platforms across the organization.
  • Ongoing support and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi access points, Cisco routers, and Cisco switches.
  • Collaboration with internal teams on user onboarding/offboarding, access controls, and enforcement of security best practices.
  • The selected individual will be responsible for monitoring systems for alerts, vulnerabilities, and incidents, and performing root cause analysis and timely resolution.
Key Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in managing and securing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Proven expertise in cloud security, including Azure Firewall and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with endpoint protection platforms, such as Trend Micro Apex One XDR.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi access points, Cisco routers, and Cisco switches.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams.
  • A strong problem-solving approach, with a focus on timely resolution of issues.
