Food Service Operations Manager

This role oversees the efficient operation of a cafeteria, ensuring timely food provision to patients and staff. The successful candidate will supervise a team, manage inventory, and maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Ensure excellent service delivery in accordance with cafeteria SOPs
- Provide nutritious diets for patients
- Coordinate meal arrangements for official guests
- Maintain quality health food standards and ensure the cooking area meets required standards
- Store inventories according to standards and request just-in-time inventory replenishment
- Develop weekly food menus for approval by the HOD or Cafeteria Incharge
- Implement duty rosters for cafeteria staff
- Responsible for general cleaning of the cafeteria
- Foster strong relationships with other departments to achieve tasks
- Compile cafeteria meal statistics and sales revenue reports
- Deliver patient-centered service respecting their values and beliefs
- Adhere to infection control practices and hand hygiene protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Proven supervisory skills and staff management expertise
- Knowledge of service standards and food service operations
- Excellent communication abilities
- 2-3 years of experience in healthcare or hospitality
