Chief Cloud Solutions Architect

As a Senior Lead Architect, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality architecture solutions for a range of software applications and platform products utilized across the enterprise. Your expertise in multiple architecture domains allows you to promote significant business impact and contribute to shaping the target state architecture.

You will represent a product family in technical governance bodies, define and provide feedback on architecture governance practices and patterns, and guide the evaluation of current technology and new technologies using existing standards and frameworks. You will also provide technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.

You will support engineering teams on design, creation, and review of code with a focus on security, quality, reliability, and scalability. You will drive decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes. You will serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus and actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle.

• Represent a product family in technical governance bodies

• Formal training or certification on JOB_SKILL concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in cloud technology, micro-services architecture, event driven architecture, and domain driven design
• Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
• Practical cloud native experience
• Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture

• Experience with Cockroach database
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience with AI/ML tools to assist in software definition, documentation, or governance
• Experience in modernizing legacy applications
