Job Title: Digital Services Leader

About This Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative leader to spearhead our digital services strategy, driving business growth through technology-enabled solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive digital transformation strategy, aligned with market opportunities and Syngenta's digital agriculture technologies, to drive sales growth, enhance customer engagement, and lay the foundation for future business models.
  • Fostering a culture of digital innovation, inspiring peers to adopt a data-driven mindset, and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the Digital Agriculture industry.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize digital marketing campaigns, develop grower-facing solutions, and create a seamless user experience across various channels.
  • Managing day-to-day operations of digital business, including digital interactions with growers, franchises, and sales force, as well as pushing notifications, posting content on social media, and capturing feedback through digital tools.
  • Establishing performance management frameworks and KPIs to ensure the successful delivery of aligned initiatives.

New Farming Ecosystem Strategy

  • Developing mid-to-long-term strategies for the future of farming, exploring partnerships to improve farmer experience, and introducing initiatives to address key pain points.
  • Building a robust ecosystem of partnerships with strong players in sustainability, environment, market access, and drones, to drive step-change improvements in farmer experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 10 years of work experience in AgTech, Telcos, Fintech, consulting, or the tech industry, with a proven track record of leading digital transformations.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in developing business plans, managing cross-functional teams, and driving project execution.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Hands-on experience with digital products, UI/UX, AgTech, and Google Analytics, with a deep understanding of the Digital Agriculture ecosystem in Pakistan.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
