Tourism Planner

A skilled tourism planner is required to create and promote customized travel packages for corporate and retail clients.

  • Determine clients' travel requirements, including accommodations and special interests.
  • Develop tailored itineraries based on available routes, costs, and transport convenience.
  • Make and confirm travel reservations, notify clients of travel connections and hotels.
  • Provide information on tourist attractions and tour availability.
  • Collect payments and issue client itineraries, documentation, and travel vouchers.
  • Inform clients about travel insurance, local regulations, and customs.
  • Respond to inquiries from tourists and corporate clients, offering suggestions on tours, travel routes, and local customs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the travel industry.
  • Familiarity with Basic Tariff and Ticketing systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Galileo and Sabre reservation systems.
  • Knowledge of Tours Selling, Visas, and Hotels Worldwide.
  • Global geography knowledge and IATA/Travel Industry rules and regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
