Career Opportunity: Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using data modeling and DAX techniques.
  • Report Optimization: Ensure report performance, accuracy, security, and compliance by transforming raw data into meaningful information.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions, while presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Integration and Data Flow: Participate in data analysis, data visualization, and collaborate with data engineers to integrate data sources and ensure seamless data flow.
Requirements:
  • Professional Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in BI development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
  • Core BI Concepts: Deep understanding of core BI concepts, including data modeling, data visualization, and reporting techniques.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX, with the ability to work with large datasets and optimize report performance.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply.
Desirable Skills:
  • Microsoft Power Platform: Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Canvas Apps development and custom workflows using Power Automate.
  • Model-Driven App Development: Knowledge of Model-driven app development and Microsoft Dataverse, with familiarity with other reporting tools or programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
