Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Junior Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design and a desire to learn more about it.

  • Select and purchase flowers and plants from suppliers
  • Prepare floral arrangements according to client requests
  • Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies
  • Assist in customer service, taking orders and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Clean and maintain work area to ensure a clean and organized workspace
  • Assist in design set up for events such as weddings or parties
  • Learn about different types of flowers, plants, and techniques used in floral design

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • PASSION FOR FLORAL DESIGN with a desire to learn more about it
  • Attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions closely
  • Good communication skills for interacting with clients
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and carrying heavy objects

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Select and purchase flowers and plants from local suppliers.
  2. Prepare unique floral arrangements according to client preferences.
  3. Maintain accurate inventory of flowers, supplies, and materials.
  4. Provide excellent customer service, take orders, and ensure client satisfaction.
  5. Clean and maintain the work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  6. Assist in setting up designs for events, including weddings and parties.

About You:

  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent education.
  • You possess a genuine passion for floral design and a desire to continuously learn and improve your skills.
  • You have strong attention to detail and can effectively follow instructions.
  • You communicate effectively with clients and possess good interpersonal skills.
  • You can work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and have physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing, lifting, bending, and carrying heavy objects.
