Project Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our team.

The Centre for Islamic Finance at Lahore University of Management Sciences plays a pivotal role in supporting the Director in executing its strategic vision through research initiatives, executive education programs, and development of high quality scholarly outputs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive research agenda and academic activities that align with the Centre's goals.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of research associates involved in Islamic finance related research and content development.
  • Program Coordination: Coordinate design, delivery, and evaluation of Islamic finance executive education programs and workshops.
  • Content Development: Develop high quality reports, policy briefs, and scholarly content in collaboration with faculty and external experts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including industry leaders, regulatory bodies, and academic institutions.
  • Event Management: Organize events, seminars, and conferences aligned with the Centre's goals.
Requirements
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience: Experience in managing teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.
Prioritised Attributes
  • Academic Background: Experience in academic or research settings.
  • Executive Education: Familiarity with executive education and training delivery.

This is a contractual position requiring a strong candidate to support the Director in achieving the Centre's goals.

Qualification:

  • Master's Degree: At least a Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Relevant Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience.
