Job Title: Manager Finance

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reports to: Executive Director / Board of Naseeha Institute

Job Purpose

The Manager Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of Naseeha Institute and Naseeha Community Center projects. The role includes financial planning, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and ensuring transparency and Shariah compliance in all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management & Planning


• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and systems.


• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.


• Monitor expenditures, cost control, and fund utilization.

  1. Accounting & Reporting


• Supervise daily accounting operations and maintain accurate records.


• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.


• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (including Ministry of Economic Affairs, tax laws, etc.).

  1. Auditing & Compliance


• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.


• Ensure financial practices are Shariah-compliant (avoidance of all interest-based dealings).


• Maintain transparency and accountability in fund management.

  1. Donor & Project Management


• Manage financial aspects of donations, grants, and waqf/endowment funds.


• Prepare donor reports and ensure proper allocation of funds to programs and projects.

  1. Team Leadership & Coordination


• Supervise finance team members and provide training where needed.


• Work closely with HR, Programs, and Operations departments to align financial planning with organizational objectives.

Requirements

Education & Experience


• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA, ACCA, CMA, or MBA Finance preferred).


• Experience in non-profit/educational sector preferred.

Skills & Competencies


• Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory compliance in Pakistan.


• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, ERP systems, etc.).


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.


• Ability to prepare and present financial reports to senior management.


• Integrity, transparency, and alignment with Islamic values.

Additional Preferences


• Knowledge of Islamic finance principles.


• Experience in grant management and reporting to government bodies.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
