Senior Engineering Manager - Cloud Computing and Software Development

We are seeking a seasoned Jr. Engineering Manager to lead our technical team in designing high-quality software systems, ensuring successful project execution, and delivery on time and within scope.

The ideal candidate will combine strong architectural expertise with leadership and management capabilities to oversee the full project lifecycle, from initiation to delivery, including managing timelines, resources, and risks.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Designing scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems that align with business objectives.
  2. Overseeing project schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, while meeting all business and technical requirements.
  3. Collaborating with product managers, development teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
  4. Ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices throughout the software development process.
  5. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions where applicable.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide teams and stakeholders towards successful project completion.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Proven experience in software architecture, designing and implementing complex software systems using technologies such as Java, PHP, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong understanding of database management, both relational (SQL) and NoSQL, along with microservices and serverless architectures.
  • Experience in DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing software development projects, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Expertise in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies, and proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Trello).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
