We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to lead the development of our backend systems. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems capable of handling a large number of concurrent users.

Main Responsibilities:
  • System Design and Development: Design and implement scalable systems that can handle a large number of concurrent users.
  • Data Stream Processing: Optimize data processing pipelines to handle real-time data streams efficiently.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Architect and maintain cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure services.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the application and infrastructure.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and other tools.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Backend Development: Proficiency in Node.js with a solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and RESTful APIs.
  • Scalability: Proven experience in scaling backend systems to support a large number of concurrent users.
  • Microservices: Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (Azure Kubernetes Service - AKS).
  • Database Management: Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including optimization and scaling techniques using Azure Cosmos DB and Azure SQL Database.
  • Message Queues: Familiarity with Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, or Azure Event Hubs for handling real-time data streams.
  • DevOps: Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, infrastructure as code (IaC) with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform, and configuration management.
