IT Architecture Expert

We are seeking an experienced IT architecture professional to lead the design and implementation of our client management systems. This is a remote opportunity with a multinational organization, requiring a minimum of 8-10 years' experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing infrastructure strategies for Windows 10 Enterprise clients within closed networks.
  • Migrating approximately 1600 Windows 7 clients to new infrastructure, while ensuring seamless distribution across Germany and multiple sites.
  • Configuring Cisco AnyConnect VPN tunnels on Windows 10 LTSB and migrating scripts for initial inclusion in AD domains.
  • Transitioning from Windows Server 2008 R2 to Windows Server 2016 Active Directory domains and facilitating the migration of Windows 7 to Windows 10 LTSB.
  • Coordinating software, system, and solution design in IT projects, adhering to enterprise architecture guidelines and standards.
  • Identifying optimization potential in IT processes, ensuring cost reduction, quality increase, process rationalization, and standardization.
Required Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience delivering applications across on-premises and cloud-native infrastructures.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune.
  • Solid understanding of client releases in complex IT landscapes and Windows 10 administration.
  • Good knowledge of operating systems, networks, servers, Internet, and end devices.
  • Able to model application and system architectures, as well as visualize technical concepts.
