The role of a DevOps Engineer is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. As a member of our team, you will work closely with development and operations teams to achieve this goal.

Detailed Responsibilities:
  1. We are looking for an experienced individual to develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
  2. The successful candidate will also deploy and orchestrate containerized microservices with Docker and Kubernetes.
  3. In addition, you will set up and maintain data infrastructure using tools such as Apache NiFi and Spark.
  4. A strong background in automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Ansible and scripting (Bash/Python) is required.
  5. Experience in monitoring system performance and ensuring high availability using Grafana, Prometheus, and Percona is essential.
  6. You will also be responsible for managing and scaling distributed infrastructure with a focus on fault tolerance and performance.
  7. An additional requirement is identifying potential and existing performance bottlenecks, and creating and executing mitigation strategies.
  8. Finally, we are seeking someone who can automate deployments across environments while maintaining reliability and security.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields.
Pre-requisites:
  • At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or cloud infrastructure management.
Essential Skills:
  • Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and VirtualBox.
  • Expertise in configuring and managing Nginx for web hosting and load balancing.
  • Experience working with distributed datastores and data warehousing solutions such as MongoDB, MySQL, Vertica, ClickHouse, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms, including local cloud providers.
  • Experience with Apache NiFi or Apache Spark for data pipeline automation.
  • Expert knowledge of Linux-based operating systems and system-level troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
