About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT & D Solution Architect to drive solution design activities within our product teams, ensuring alignment with our overall Enterprise Architecture and product stream strategy.

This role requires technical leadership, analysis, and design tasks related to the development of products or product groups within our organisation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, architect, develop, and document manufacturing IT solutions that solve complex problems across different projects on Factory Network, Azure, or SaaS platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the design and deployment lifecycle, focusing on delivery with quality.
  • Lead technical discussions on Technical Architecture and build consensus among all stakeholders, including vendors.
  • Responsible for creating Technical Architecture Specification Documents with inputs from Factory Network, Cloud, Product, and Integration Teams.
  • Provide technical architecture consultancy and design for projects.
  • Understand security and compliance requirements, delivering solutions aligned with business standards, principles, and patterns, particularly from a Factory Network and Azure Cloud perspective.
  • Design end-to-end application (single or multi-tier) architecture and data security for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS that integrates with Factory OT Devices.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational IT policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in network, enterprise applications, integration, and solution designing.
  • Deep technical experience in networking (factory and corporate) and infrastructure design, including On-premises, private and public cloud, virtualization, storage, and Integration Services.
  • Proven expertise in designing and architecting multi-tier Cloud only / Hybrid network, infrastructure, integrations.
  • Knowledge of OT Assets and OT Network and how they integrate with Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Security services and Identity services like Encryption, Active Directory, RBAC, NSGs / ASGs, firewall policies, etc.
  • Knowledge of Azure Networking services (e.g., VNETs, Load Balancers, Front Door, ExpressRoute, Traffic Manager, Content Delivery Network) and Firewalls.
