Technical Network Support Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Network Support Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
- Provide support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, utilizing technical expertise and problem-solving skills to resolve complex problems efficiently.
- Monitor system performance and ensure network security and data protection, implementing measures to prevent potential threats and ensure business continuity.
- Assist with Management Information System (MIS) operations and reporting, providing accurate and timely information to stakeholders.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on IT systems, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for technical support and installations, fostering strong relationships and ensuring smooth communication.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Computer, Information Technology, Electrical, or Electronics is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in networking, system support, and hardware troubleshooting is necessary.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networks and internet connectivity is essential.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues is crucial.
- Experience with Windows/Linux environments is required.
- Familiarity with IP addressing, cabling, and basic server configurations is necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are vital.
