Job Description

A Senior Financial Manager oversees the financial health of an organization, ensuring its continued viability. They supervise key functions like monitoring cash flow, determining profitability, managing expenses, and producing accurate financial information.

Key Functions:
  • Develop a strategic business plan to support the management team.
  • Prepare periodic, quarterly, and annual internal financial statements for meetings with senior management.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and metrics.
  • Help prepare consolidated financial reporting journal entries and deliverables on a periodic, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Perform analysis, make recommendations, and participate in discussions regarding consolidation and reporting matters.
  • Identify process improvements and lead efficiency projects.
  • Support decisions with financial information and analysis.
  • Participate in other projects and ad-hoc analyses and reports.
  • Assist with cash forecasting and monitoring to ensure working capital needs are met.
  • Assist with month-end closing of books.
  • Create revenue recognition rules according to ASC 606 guidelines.
  • Assist with designing a functional chart of accounts.
  • Other duties as assigned by senior management.
    • ACCA certification and related academics preferred. Additional certifications (CPA, CFA, CMA) a plus.
    • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience preferably in a technology firm.
    • Knowledge of QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, and other ERP systems desired.
    • Experience with taxation including corporate tax, withholding tax, sales tax, and income tax.
    • Experience with petty cash handling.
    • Candidate must have exceptional leadership skills.
    • Expertise in using Excel and complex formulas required.
    • Familiarity with regulatory compliances (SECP, SRB, FBR, etc.) needed.
    • Exceptional communication skills essential.
    • Ability to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable necessary.
    • Experience with technology companies/US firms preferred.
