Network Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer with a strong background in networking technologies, proficiency in Windows environments, and advanced skills in Linux systems. The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of cybersecurity and ethical hacking principles to ensure the integrity and security of our network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Configure and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Implement and manage security measures to protect against cyber threats, including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Maintain and upgrade both Linux and Windows systems, ensuring compatibility and integration with network components.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to support and integrate network services with other systems and applications.
  • Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
  • Provide support and guidance to other team members regarding network-related issues and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on networking technologies.
  • Strong linux background.
  • Expertise in configuring and managing network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems, with hands-on experience in security and ethical hacking.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
  • Ansible and terraform knowledge.
Preferred Skills:
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
  • Experience with cloud-based networking solutions and technologies.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for automation and network management.
