Job Title: Senior Compliance Officer - Enquiry & Discipline

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned compliance officer to oversee employee disciplinary cases and ensure adherence to company policies.

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to counsel employees, conduct investigations, and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Counsel employees on company policies and procedures, providing guidance on disciplinary matters and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee misconduct, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses as necessary.
  • Analyze investigation reports and recommend disciplinary actions to management, ensuring consistency and fairness in application.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal department, HR management, and other departments, to resolve disciplinary cases and implement company policies.
  • Liaise with external entities, such as courts, law enforcement agencies, and external counsel, to address disciplinary matters and protect company interests.
  • Review and revise draft charge sheets, show cause notices, and final orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of disciplinary cases, including investigation reports, witness statements, and correspondence with employees and stakeholders.
  • Provide support in resolving ongoing litigation and contractual disputes, representing the company in court if necessary.
  • Undertake any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor, ensuring effective execution of company policies and procedures.
