About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SoC Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our digital hardware organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our System-on-Chip (SoC) silicon.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded software development and a deep understanding of SoC architecture. You will design, develop, and debug system/IP validation frameworks for bare-metal and lightweight-RTOS environments.

You will work closely with architects, designers, verification engineers, software engineers, and customers to understand the SoC architecture, new features, and prepare test plans. Your responsibilities will include developing/porting/enhancing system validation content based on system-level use cases, low-power use cases, finding HW bugs, and root-causing them.

You will also interface with design/software teams for test plan and debugs, as well as various IP validation teams and cross-functional teams for test plan creation and debugging complex issues.

To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's/master's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Computer Science or a related field and 2-5 years of working experience. You should have good knowledge and understanding of embedded SW architecture and development in C, C++, Assembly.

Candidates with less experience but good academics from premier institutes can also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and debug system/IP validation frameworks for bare-metal and lightweight-RTOS environments.
  • Understand the SoC architecture, new features, and prepare test plans.
  • Develop/port/enhance system validation content based on system-level use cases, low-power use cases, finding HW bugs, and root-causing them.
  • Interface with design/software teams for test plan and debugs.
  • Interface with various IP validation teams and cross-functional teams for test plan creation and debugging complex issues.
