Job Title:

Field Operations Manager


M&S International is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Field Officer to oversee the supply chain, procurement, and execution of logistics activities. This individual will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure the smooth flow of goods and materials.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.
  2. Become an expert in vendor relationship management.
  3. Evaluate budgets for purchases and make informed financial decisions.
  4. Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Assess vendors and suppliers.
  6. Maintain purchase records and other essential data.
  7. Negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  8. Track the movement of goods and materials to ensure timely delivery.
  9. Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demands and minimize costs.
  10. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to deliver goods on time.
  11. Work with internal teams to forecast and plan future logistics needs.
  12. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
  13. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  14. Solve any issues that arise during the logistics process.

Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. At least 2-3 years of experience in supply chain.
  3. Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar role.
  4. Familiarity with imports and exports.
  5. Strong organizational and planning skills.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  8. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and documentation related to logistics.
  9. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  10. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  11. Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
