Are you a highly skilled accounting professional looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking an experienced Account Assistant/Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Transactions Management: Handle daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and expense bookings with accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records and identify any discrepancies.
  3. Import Documentation: Familiarity with import working and documentation, including documentation for the opening of L/C, contracts, costing of imported materials, etc.
  4. Tax Compliance: File monthly sales tax returns and prepare sales tax challans in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Withholding Statements: File quarterly withholding statements and prepare withholding challans as per legal obligations.
  6. Accounts Payable: Maintain accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing to maintain healthy vendor relationships.
  7. Accounts Receivable: Manage accounts receivable, including tracking and following up on outstanding invoices to minimize bad debt.
  8. Monthly Reconciliations: Conduct monthly reconciliations of stock, sales, purchases, and production records to ensure data integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B. Com) or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of continuous experience in a single organization as an Account Assistant/Accountant.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of daily accounting transactions and financial processes.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, ability to work independently and meet deadlines, and good communication and interpersonal skills.
