Procurement Specialist

A Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is typically required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Communicate effectively with suppliers to arrange necessary documentation and confirm clearing with the agent.
  2. Coordinate bank and insurance company activities for Letter of Credit/Letter of Guarantee opening and maintenance.
  3. Manage document retirement negotiations with banks.
  4. Review weekly shipment status reports and share them with the sales team.
  5. Update the sales department on upcoming materials and supplies.
  6. Provide instructions for consignment unloading to warehouse staff.
  7. Arrange Electronic Import Forms (EIF) efficiently.
  8. Manage final costing processes.
  9. Supervise and direct import assistant officer tasks for timely completion.
  10. Collaborate with management to assess and improve business processes and policies.
  11. Manage LC limit creation/renewal with banks to optimize financial performance.
  12. Prepare performance reports for the department and suggest improvements for increased profitability.
  13. Work closely with senior department heads to achieve company objectives.
  14. Perform assigned tasks by senior management.
